Mean Mom

So I think I am the meanest Mom! Tayci had to go to the Doctor on Friday to have a check up and get shots. She did really well this time and only cried for about 5 minutes. It was a relief because last time she cried straight the whole day. I can't believe how little she still is. I thought she had grown so much since her last appointment, but she'll only gained a pound in 2 months. She weighs 10 lbs and 10 oz. But the doc says it's ok I just have to bring her in for weight checks.
She did so well with her shots, and I was already giving her Tylenol; so I decided to pierce her ears. We headed to Park City and did it. She was awesome she just whimpered for about a minute, and then she was fine. It was way less drama then the shots.I just wanted to get it over with before she got old enough to play with them and get them infected..

Brett's Birthday

My littlest brother Brett turned 17 on May 29. We went to Olive Garden to celebrate. It was fun to all get together. All they brought him was a candle in a straw we were laughing so hard, it was really pathetic!

We had a late Mother's Day dinner for Jake's mom because she was out of town for the real occasion. Chris, Jake's youngest brother came up early to help me cook, cause he knows me well enough to know not to leave me alone in the kitchen. He is an amazing cook and sushi chef.. it was quite an ordeal but it was so good and I learned so much from him. I was so proud I had to take pics of the event.
